Eagle Imperium is a FIRST  Robotics team based in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Since 2009, we’ve been participating in FIRST Robotics Competitions. Our team is comprised of about 46 high school students as well as several mentors from the community. We are a non-profit group sponsored by several generous businesses and corporations.

FIRST Team 3322 was founded in 2009 by David Coupland, a Physics teacher at Skyline High School and our head coach.  We participated in the game Breakaway for our rookie year, during the 2010 season. We won the Rookie All-Star Award at both the Ann Arbor and Troy competitions, and we were ranked the highest rookie seed. Then our team made it to the Michigan State Competition and played against the top teams across the state. During the 2011 game Logo Motion, we won the Imagery Award at the Skyline competition and traveled to St. Louis for the FIRST Championships.

The 2012 season, Rebound Rumble, is underway and our robot is competing very well. We’ve won several awards this year including two Website Awards, an Imagery Award, an Industrial Design award, and a Regional Finalist and Champion Award.

Over the course of our team’s lifespan, the team has gained many students and mentors, but we’ll always need more. If you live in the Ann Arbor area, we’d love to have you join us.

Feel free to take a look at photos and videos of our team and the events we participate in. If you’d like to buy team merchandise, you can visit our online store. All the proceeds will go to support the team.
